Subway

I think I was subconsciously inspired by a fellow bliper and pulled my camera out in the subway this morning for some candid shots. Here's todays 2nd and 3rd place blips. I went to Dafang department store today for the first time. It's a cool little place. It opened in 1979 and I'm told it hasn't changed since. I got myself a pair of feiyue sneakers. I guess you could call them Chinese Nike. Chinese kids begged their parents for them in the 70's and 80's, but they turned into a shoe for the masses worn mostly by construction workers and grandmothers. They're in vogue in Europe at the moment and making a comeback in China even if they are incredibly cheap (about $2 a pair).
