Side light

Today's blip was taken on our second visit to the Hippodrome today. The first walk was before lunch and the dog had a good time and I took a few heron pictures - for which I need a longer lens to do justice to.

After lunch we went into town to buy some tinned fish from my favourite tinned fish shop, and then my wife wanted to go on the International Women's Day march. There were not a lot of women and very few younger women which was a bit sad. My wife met a few people she knew had a chat if nothing else. The walk also blocked a massive SUV which was worth it all on it's own...

The second dog walk was as the light was fading and these seed heads have caught the light from the side against a darkening sky quite well.
