Recycling Children's Play Board
I screwed some vertical climbers to a raised bed that was not in great condition, so I decided to add some wood to the other side of the wood. I used a bit more of the remains of a play board, which I made nearly 30 years ago. One side was seas, islands and ice, while the other was land with rivers, roads and railway lines.
The original board was about about 2.4m X 1.2 m. All that remains now is about 60 cms X 20 cms. It has been repurposed gradually over the last 20 years since the (bigger) boys used it as a bridge and broke it. And there is still life in it yet!
