Brimham Rocks

As we headed home from our weekend in Knaresborough, we decided to go to Brimham Rocks near Patley Bridge. 

The weather was foul with rain and mist, so the views were poor. The rocks themselves were very interesting, as rocks go, and many of them had been named in previous generations. I can see how some might look like an anvil or a writing desk, but I wonder if some of the others had been named following extensive drug use!

We will go back on a sunny day to enjoy them again, but hopefully with some lovely views as well.
