Everlasting Larch Tree

I check up on this tree at the end of every winter to see if it is still standing. All around it are fallen or bent trees, felled by the wind blasts and snow of avalanches. This single tree must be just out of the avalanche zones on either side of it in an area called La Glacière above Pont de Nant. It’s had an easy winter this year, not a huge amount of snow.
