Pot of Gold

Spring is still a long way away,  but it has arrived on my coffee table; it is amazing what a wee pot of bulbs can do to perk up your day. 

And..Oh yes, another hint that spring is nigh..Today we lost an hour - the same one that always goes away at this time of year and magically appears again in November...What's with that? I will miss that hour....

It was not the usual Sunday and it warranted turning on the TV...It was "Pick a New Leader" day in our federal government....

and the winner is......Mark Carney!

Mark is an economist, former Governor of the Bank of Canada, Governor of the Bank of England, and is now the leader of the Liberal party and next Prime Minister of Canada! (Why anyone would want the job is beyond me..) Our hopes are on him in the upcoming election and in the battle against tariffs...
