Cruising Weather?

Not really cruising weather today. Instead it has been dark and foreboding. Rain was threatening, and there were a few drops of rain, but while they were persistent over quite a time, they were far between and not enough to force me to take shelter.

I notice this boat comes from Gourock, so it has strayed quite away from home. Decorated with bunting it offers tours around the harbour. I have meant to go on a harbour tour for a couple of years now, but have never quite got around to.

Several (about six) oil platform survival vessels came in to the harbour while I was there. It looked like most of those on board were doing basic offshore survival training. They were lucky, the sea was fairly calm.
