A Walk in the Park

Ruth and I took Bella for a walk in Highbury Park as the sun fell lower in the sky this afternoon.   I got distracted - briefly - by these wonderful bicoloured narcissus.  

Earlier in the day I had taken Meg on a long walk through Bournville where there are many crocuses along the verges and in the parks, all open blousy and wide in the warm sunshine.  An extra pic of them.  Did I say warm?   Oh yes, quite spring-like but it's not going to last!

We watched the final of Pottery Throwdown this evening.  It's been a great series and from early on it looked like these three would make the final, very evenly matched.  One or two of the things they have made during the series have inspired thoughts of new projects in me.  Watch this space.
