Brian's Bits

No oposite?

I have been known to say that certain words do not appear to have a frequently used opposite; e.g. how often do you say/hear "WOW, he looks scrutable."  or  did any medieval army ever declare a Castle to be pregnable?
This exact bunch of Viburnum Buds/Flowers has been shot a number of times by both Jerra & me.
Remember Storm Éowyn?  This bunch was in place, and survived its ravages.  I checked to see how long ago.
"Storm Éowyn was a powerful and record-breaking extratropical cyclone which hit Ireland, the Isle of Man and the United Kingdom on 24 January 2025 ˜ ˜ ˜ " - Closing on two months.
A fine example of longevity - BUT - ever heard of "shortgevity"?
It looks a bit "non-me" perhaps- due to an outbreak of Macro; which I haven't tried for YONKS.
