Stone wall
On my travels and on a hazy Lakeland day here are people learning to rebuild stone walls. If you don't know these walls are 'dry.' What that means is walls are built without cement. These walls have two layer of stones and in between smaller stones are infills. There are miles of drystone wall in the Lake District, some following steep slopes. Back bending work without a doubt, but interesting to see and youngsters learning the skill. Wonderful.
