Skiddaw
Taken today from a lay-by on the A66. I was on my way to Mungrisdale, a nice and quiet valley behind Blencathra/Saddleback to add to add others to my Blencathra difference. That was the plan and yes I did go along that valley crossing Caldbeck Common, but before that photos of rally cars. Yes it was the annual Malcolm Wilson Rally and cars passed the same lay-by. For those who don't know Malcolm is in charge of M-Sport and was once a driver himself', famously hitting a stone and crashing, as seen on 'Grandstand' all those years ago. One day I'll Blip a car. My friend, also a Blipper used to drive rally cars. I have chosen Skiddaw as it looks calmer than rally cars going passed me. Further on on the Mungrisdale road there were Llamas in a field, sheep gathering for feeding in another field, all seen in 'wall to wall' sunshine.
