Deadline

I am most productive when I have a deadline to meet. If there's not a point looming when something must be done for my mind wanders and I find things to distract me (who had the word Blip just flash into their brain?).

So, today's deadline of 1pm in place I put my mind to a fairly boring task and got it done quickly and efficiently.

Which mean that I at the appointed time I was positioned in a friends sunny garden with a glass of wine in hand, prepared to spend the afternoon involved in the very hard work of enjoying myself with good food and excellent conversation. I should maybe get her to issue that deadline every Wednesday.

I did however forget my camera and was running close to the daily blip deadline so ended up with a shot of a big jaggy thistle in the gloamin.
