White feather

Been dashing about all day seeing blips pass by in a blink. Was about to blip the contents of the fridge when I noticed the sky was turning gold. Headed outside and was clicking away when I realised I was under attack.

A pair of terns have nested in the field beside us and I think the chicks are now wandering about as the area the terns are patrolling is much greater. As the tern hovered above me I thought I had hit blip gold. Sadly my photography skills are not up to catching speeding white birds with pointy red beaks heading straight for the lens.

Sorry, I took the cowards way out and ran.

The tern is in the picture, you might just see it if you blow this up big... believe me, this was a safe distance and I'm not going any nearer.
