Around Town
We spent today around Dunedin starting at the Botanic Gardens. It is a typical garden, well labelled and a wide range of planting. I like to see native species and there is a section on the high ground dedicated to them. The larger tree shown on my main Blip is one of the Heritage Trees, a Monterey Pine.
Postcards: I guess I couldn't visit Dunedin without showing you the statue of Robert Burns. I first saw it on Billy Connolly's travel programme. The church is St Paul's Cathedral. The little shed appeared to be an office in the heart of the dockland area.
The twin shot was taken at the same time from the same spot but in different directions. the contrast of Dunedin.
I woke to hear a little rain outside but all day it has been lovely. Can't complain.
