Dunedin
I wanted a rest today but as far as images go I've needed to add a few extras. Dunedin is known as a university city, it is also rich in architecture. The main railway station dates back to 1906, it is an impressive building. I have added an extra with details of the station.
Postcards:
University life with Scottish DNA. Traffic cones and beer bottles.
Hilly, so much so it has the World's steepest residential street, Baldwin Street. We also drove above the city and I include an overview.
Station overview. Stained class, mosaic floors and classic train rides.
The promised downpours never materialised so we have been very lucky. This morning we managed to get all our washing done and this evening we had a lovely Thai meal.
