There's a bright golden haze on the meadow

What happened today?

I agreed, albeit unwillingly to head up to the allotment again today.  Himself was handing out compost and delivering.   

I decided that I would not be lazy.  I would go and weed 

I took the binoculars and the camera in case of woodpeckers. ... And overdressed because I expected it to be cold 

I was pleasantly surprised!  It was WARM. And a big yellow globe in was in the sky .

I cleared the flower bed first.  Then I weeded the leeks and threw out the dead Brussels 

Then I weeded the carrots and then I weeded the other onions and leeks 

I thought maybe that would do and I sat for a while ...and looked at the asparagus bed .... See the two diagonals.  Nope. I needed to do something with it

So down I got. And I cleared the weeds. While I was doing it ... I managed to dig up  two crowns.  They were amazingly large!  I was very happy despite maybe having killed them.   But they were big.... And I grew these from seed 

Two hours later we were done and we came home and I planted some little seedlings I had been hardening. 

Then we went to the library and supermarket and then came home and sat in the couch .... 

I am exhausted.  

And my knees held out yay!!!!!
