Lungwort

A rather damp morning but it brightened up later. I met my friend,  C, for lunch at the Flowerpots pub in Cheriton. She had been working as a volunteer in the  garden  of nearby NT property Hinton Ampner. The new Head Gardener there is very dynamic and showing appreciation of his volunteer workforce. C says the garden should look very colourful soon. Our other friend , J, has broken her wrist and was attending a follow- up appointment at the fracture clinic, today. As they say, when you retire you may think you will be free  of meetings, but oh no; however they are now with medical professionals, instead of work colleagues!
This Pulmonaria  (lungwort) is flowering in my garden. (It seems it is flowering in many other Blippers' gardens too!)
