Clipper Commuter
I used the Thames Clippers again today, sailing up and down the river between offices with my little Brompton tucked under the seat for joining up the journey ends. It's a lovely way to travel.
I was most amused to learn that you have to flag down the boat at less used piers... Which is perfectly understandable in a little town like London! Reminds me of the smaller train request stops in the north of Scotland. As a result, I missed the boat (literally!) back from Vauxhall and so rode back to Embankment to catch another along to Tower. All very pleasant.
Other than that, lots of tedious bureaucracy at work followed by beers in the sunshine. Not bad at all.
