2025 Tuesday — At Bob & Elaine’s

We headed over to Bob & Elaine’s for dinner this evening. She prepared Tortilla Soup. It was quite delicious. We have met them because of attending Morro Bay Pres Church. Elaine is very involved in the women’s ministry and they both are involved in numerous areas of the church.

Their home is very unique. At one time it was a care facility for elderly, and I’m not sure if previous to that it had been a motel. It is sort of in the shape of a great big capital “U.” Elaine is an RN and had worked in a nursing care home facility in Southern California years ago before they purchased this place in Cayucos on the Central Coast. They have lots of stories to tell and it is all quite fascinating.
