Wednesday 2025 — Road Home

We had been to the Ash Wednesday service at church early this evening. It began at 5:30. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent in the Christian tradition, serving as a day of reflection, repentance, and fasting. It is observed by receiving ashes on the forehead, symbolizing mortality and the need for reconciliation with God. The service was not lengthy.

So the sky still had a slight illumination as we drove north to Cayucos from Morro Bay. We are usually looking out our front windows at that time of the evening; seeing this view from the car was interesting.
