Only 3 days late

For various reasons we didn't manage to make pancakes on Shrove Tuesday this week so, belatedly, we had them this evening. My wife made the batter and I cooked the pancakes, which is my usual role on pancake day. Nothing fancy, just served with sugar and lemon, aka "the classic". Delicious. Now I suppose I need to think about what I should give up for Lent.
