Delighting
Up and out early to meet Anne and Abi for a walk. We did a stunning 10km around the Buscatell Valley. The sun came out too, and the flowers were full of bugs delighting in all the pollen.
On my way to go shopping I saw a vulnerable friend, I'd not seen him in a while and it turns out he's been in the psychiatric unit. He was really struggling. Said he can't find balance or peace. It was so good to just sit and listen, ad hold hands at points. He's one of the gentlest kindest souls we know here. It's sad to see him in so much pain. I was glad I wasn't pressed for time.
I dropped in to see Alanna who was working in a cafe in town whilst her daughter was at a party. Great to have a quick hug. Then on to Sant Jordi to the ecumenical world day of prayer. I'd been roped into doing different readings. Somehow my sections had all the long complicated Spanish words!!!!
Home late and I've flopped into bed. Another full day tomorrow.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Being in nature.
2) Asha helping me wash the windows. They're not great but they're better than they were. It's not our favourite job!
3) Time with A. Sometimes you just know there's nothing better you could be doing with your time...felt like that sat on the bench with him.
