Travelling down to CentreParcs Whinfell Forest (Lake District one) for the week. This will be our third year and making the most of it as the last one most likely. Next year Kara will be in primary school and the prices during the school holidays sky rocket. This year we’ve got Jen’s parents along too.

Drive down was pretty easy. Only rained a little while driving and not when we stopped. The A66 was closed off the M6 where we needed to get off but they were letting through people for CentreParcs because the accident was further down.

Got into the lodge about 5:30pm. Jen and I our veterans now at this so knew exactly what to pack and she was able to unpack everything by the time I’d put the car in the car park and walked back up.
