Durdle Door

The Durdle Door Hotel in Lulworth Cove where we are staying provided a very nice breakfast and afterwards we headed up the very steep footpath and  over to Durdle Door as it was sunny despite a poor weather forecast. We got to Durdle Door by 10am…2 people swimming in the sea but no one else around. 
Back to Lulworth and spent some time in the good visitor centre, looked in the stops and bought some things for the grand children. The visitor centre had a very good video and displays about the geology of the area. There was a big rock fall in 2024.

I would not like to be here at a busy time …the car park is huge and lots of double yellow lines on all the streets.

This afternoon we went to visit a friend on her farm and this evening we will meet up again with another friend in a local pub for dinner.
