My Cigar Box project

Yoga in the morning, paper work in the afternoon and in the evening I visited my friend Maren, who just moved into a new house. I brought her a little basket with dish towels, flowers, bread and salt.
Bread and salt is a house warming gift in Germany going back to the middle ages. It came with a poem. I also  made a little card with the mountain view from her picture window in the living room with the names and height of the 2 tallest ones, because she asked me before what they are called.
It's the coldest night this winter - it's wet and cold and 7 C.
The photo of my daughter was taken years ago in Long Island, when she started college in Upstate New York.
