He's back!

I had an eye test appointment this morning. Our optician had a new piece of wizzy technical kit, so I had two OCT scans, one with the original scanner that has always been used in the past, and the second with their new, all-singing, all-dancing machine. I’m pleased to say that the tests showed that my eyesight is very good, although I did need a new prescription. My new lenses will be tailored exactly to the results of the second scan. How good is that? 

And, in breaking news, I put out the wildlife camera last night and within a couple of hours I was notified of a hedgehog sighting! So of course this afternoon the hedgehog feeding station has been brought up from the cellar and put out, ready to give me endless hours of pleasure watching my little friends come and visit the feeding station each night.
