Castle

Nice night in the van and there was frost outside when we opened the blind. Slow start to the day getting ready to head out to Dunstanburgh Castle. Satnav took us to the wrong car park and we ended up parking on the side of the road and walking along the golf course to get to the castle. It was only when we arrived that I realized it was the castle at the start of the Bambrough half marathon that I have run past a couple of times. Nice walk around the castle ruins and up one of the towers, that Kilda wasn’t happy about. Went to the beach on the way back to the van so Darwin could have a swim. Headed to Craster after lunch for a look around and J went into the local smokery to get some nice bacon and kippers for her. Back to the van with 2 tired dogs and downloaded Knives out, the Daniel Craig murder mystery film, which was very good while trying the smoked cheese J bought earlier.
