World Book Day

On World Book Day, where better than to read a book than down by the beach on a beautiful spring day. Blipped on my way to the charity shop this morning. 

Co-incidentally, I tend to look after the books in the shop and today, Jacqui the store manager, and I were trying out the new book scanning system, which will make the shop more money from our book donations.

By the way, talking about books, what is your favourite book? 

Martin’s favourite book is John Irving’s ‘A Prayer for Owen Meaney’, while my favourite book is Armistead Maupin’s ‘Tales of the City’.
