Remembering Together

This morning’s early walk took us round the lagoons, where we spotted this sign. 

Upon further investigation, it turns out that Remembering Together East Lothian is a Covid community memorial programme, led by East Lothian Council Arts Service in partnership with Greenspace Scotland. 

A series of walks have been developed round the county, supported by an app, and this sign was pointing to an easy circular walk (round the bird reserve) for reflection, hope and healing, which was a popular walk during lockdown.

It seems a nice initiative, and anything that encourages people to get out and about in the countryside should be applauded.

The rest of my morning was taken up with shopping and trying to find a parking space in the centre of town. Yes, the earlier walk was so much more relaxing and enjoyable.
