The colour purple

I plan to photograph West Shore today, but after a walk along the beach I’m afraid I remain completely uninspired. Despite the sunshine, there’s nothing that makes me want to use my camera. 

Back home however, the tiny spears of purple from 10 days ago have blossomed into a carpet of mauves just waiting to be photographed! 

But for this, I spend most of the day continuing with editing, feeling somewhat deflated by the drubbing my shots had in last night’s club competition ……
