Cyclone Alfred approaches

We have been waiting for Cyclone Alfred to cross the coast near here for days now (currently only moving towards us at about 7-10 kph). It is a large storm and could pass right over us or the more heavily populated Capital city to the South (Brisbane). Massive surf too large to paddle into is out the front of home . You could literally drive a truck through the main shot wave. The extra is another such wave. It is hard to capture how powerful they are. The beach is currently holding up t the assault but has perhaps another week of such wave stop contend with.
