Wonderment
It's been another nice day but with a bit more cloud cover it wasn't so cold first thing or in the evening. There's been a little bit of haze all day and as the sun went down it was quite misty out to sea.
We started off at the waterfall at Cenarth, which is just over the border into Ceredigion. It's a lovely falls and has a nice old watermill toadd a bit of extra interest. I've added a couple of extras from there, one a black and white conversion. We'd passed the Pentre Ifan burial chamber on our way so we decided to call in there to see it. It's much taller than ones I've seen before. Situated in the Presili hills it's quite an impressive monument.
This evening we went out to Newgale beach which is a very wide beach. From the car park we walked about a mile to get to the cliffs, caves and rock pools. The sky was fairly featureless with the mist but it did make for some lovely strong colour as the sun went down.
Fortunately, that's just what I needed for the Wide on Wednesday challenge but all though I took this shot in landscape, I thought it was better suited to a portrait crop. Ah well, sorry Bob but I'l tag it anyway, it was shot with a wide angle lens.
