Another Beautiful Day

Little Man and I have had a lovely day. We had a visitor round today, from the lead elder's oldest daughter. It was nice having her round. She's in the process of trying to get a visa so that she can return to the Isle of Man, to continue the internship she's doing there.

During the afternoon, Little Man and I went into the garden to enjoy the fine weather. Spring definitely seems to have arrived, and I wanted to make sure that we don't waste it. So I grabbed my Panasonic Lumix G1 and took some lovely photos of Little Man. He found it fascinating and pretty hilarious. He took it upon himself to run away, giggling, whenever he heard the shutter go off. A much preferred reaction to being watched by a pair of suspicious swans. We did see them, the swans, in the water when we stepped outside the back door (see the extra photo). They hissed a bit and I hissed back at them, which led them to making a pretty quick retreat. Hopefully, they won't be nesting anywhere near the house. I want to ensure that the garden stays safe for Little Man.
