In the Pink

A beautiful Spring day: just like the day l got married 56 years ago, it was three days after Mr P’s birthday so we always had a lot to celebrate this week.

Got the train into Bradford for dance rehearsal. Knew the theme for Wide Wednesday was colour so already had in mind what my blip would be.
I know other Blippers have already shown you the Ramadan Pavilion but l wanted it in my journal.

I’ve added some temporary extras and an explanation about the instillation as part of Bradford City of Culture 2025.
Have heard it’s very popular for people to have their wedding photos taken here.

Dance was great, starting to see things coming together and l can feel we are all more confident. We got measured for our costumes too but no idea what they will look like.

Got told yesterday l have been selected to be in a photoshoot( with a few others from different groups ) for Memories of the Future ( the name of the dance piece) to appear in promotional footage to be shared across social media - get me!
Would like to think it’s because of my dancing but realise it’s probably because l am one of the oldest out of the 80 participants:-))
