Clearing The Garden.

The cyclone is getting closer.

I went to the shops this morning and managed to buy a few things I wanted.

I haven't seen the shops this busy since Christmas.

The schools will be closed for the next 2 days.

Concerts and football matches have been cancelled and public transport.

Ironically, we've been told to take cash out the banks, so much for a cashless society.

We've moved everything outside either into the shed (let's hope we don't lose that) or into the house.

Since I took this photo, we've moved all the plant pots and rolled the blinds up.

We tried to get the table into the house, but it was just a little bit too large and way too heavy to try and turn it on its side.

All the outside ornaments and lights have been moved as well.

At the moment the cyclone is expected to make landfall Thursday night or Friday morning.

At the moment it's quite dark for 5pm and raining.

So now it's just a waiting game
