I Love This Tree…

… We pass it on the way to see The Eldest Elderly One.
We had another call today, to come quickly and expect the worst. So we went quickly.

We spent all day sitting at the bedside. At five o clock the patient woke, and announced ‘it’s a cold, cold morning’. Staff offered food. ‘Yes please, I would appreciate that very much’. The voice was weak but determined.
We deemed it appropriate to wend our way back home.
Who knows what the next few days will bring?
