Tilting Towards Light

Some lovely colourful clouds after sundown today. The sheets of buckled ice had survived another day, thanks to temperatures around freezing. I liked this shot where the tilting ice reflected colour in the sky.

I shot two frames for exposure and attempted to blend them using luminosity masks in Photoshop. Not as easy as I'd hoped due to the difference in exposure between the left and right side of the image.

I'd also left the leg of my tripod in shot. Thank goodness for the remove tool in PS.
