Upsetting The Neighbours

The geese seem to get upset at the least little thing at the moment and honk away at whatever they consider the source of their discomfort. Usually it's other geese, which makes me think their bad attitude is a territorial reaction.

In this case, it would appear their displeasure was directed at the mallard couple gently ambling by. At less than half the size of the geese, one might assume the ducks would not pose a threat.

I shot the encounter from a distance with a long telephoto and thought my presence was not a factor. The light was beautiful.
