Beda is here

Steve went and picked up my mom's dog Beda and brought her home to our house, she will live with us now.. Beda is an 11 year young Golden Doodle! She's already bonded with Steve from his many visits when he was checking in with mom daily because of her Alzheimer's. He gave Beda a bath soon after she arrived and here she is after being towel dried.

We successfully got mom to Memory Care yesterday, so now we are resting and recovering after a stressful day.... Inspired Living (where mom is now) continues to update us. When she's settled in we'll visit her and eventually bring Beda in to see her. 

Right now mom is in Memory Care. She may be able to transfer to the apartment in Assisted Living that we furnished for her, we will take this one day at a time and listen to the experts who are working with us. We are just glad she is safe and after 5 weeks, my sister can return to her home in Massachusetts. 

The extra is Luna unfazed by Beda's presence. Beda was here during Hurricane Milton and spent 3 months with us in 2019 when mom broke her hip...
