Thirlmere.

Taken from the road on the west side of the  lake, a road where you can't drive round (fear of falling rock, but it is open to cyclists and walkers!)  It is a photogenic lake (like Lakeland is) and I have taken this hut before.  I have chosen mono as I think it is more effective, (a coloured version is available.)
Last night was camera club competition where I had success.  The advice give on one of my entries was to covert to mono and give a closer crop (I have done so.  This photo has been edited on that advice.) For a cold day cars passed me to the carpark further along the road.  This photo was taken at Steel End carpark.
