A most wonderful start to the day with a good couple of hours brisk walking on the frozen earth. Up to 10mm thick ice on some of the puddles. We rescued a “bucket” full of frogspawn from a tractor rut, I could see tiny tadpoles forming.
Dippy herded three Muscovy ducks across a wooden walkway onto an island on the small lake.
A fox slinking through the undergrowth wasn’t spotted by Dippy but he found some scat to roll around in, thankfully frozen solid!
The Canada geese are all pairing up, married once for life.
A quiet and peaceful day with pleasant conversation and a visit to our favourite cafe for a camomile tea and a couple of sausages to share.
A gym and swimming session helped ease the stiffness in my back and shoulder, some pins and needles occasionally in my left leg and arm are becoming more apparent recently.
