Linnet (Carduelis canabina)

I went for a walk today and got a nice surprise, when this Linnet landed on a gorse bush just to my left and started to sing. Then he sat and posed for me while I took a few shots of him. Definitely a male because of the grey head and crimson breast and crown. this colour disappears in winter months. Late posting today as the broadband went off for five hours. But I made it!
