Fireside time

The two friends in front of the stove. We sewed some of the early seeds today. Tomatoes, chilli's, Peppers, cucumbers etc. My plan is to really boost them this year even if I'm wading in buckets of plants before they get out in the garden such a short growing season here but hot enough for these to be grown outside. We also seasoned some cast iron cookware we got with some vouchers we had for canadian tire. 

Poor bud really hurt his back on the afternoon walk a previous injury from being trampled by cattle was triggered. I got the truck to bring him home and we got him warm and some pain meds and some healing and he felt good enough to eat his dinner and walk and trot about again. When it hits he can't walk with his back end so can be really terrifying to see.

Husband cooked the best steaks in the freshly seasoned new cast iron pan.
