Gas tower flats

Too quickly the weekend came to an end. Time to head back to Kings Cross for the train home. We had plenty of time so went to see the redevelopment of Coal Drops Yard. This is the old gas tower now made into flats. You can see the shutters open on some of the flats. An interesting conversion which has certainly improved this area.

Stephen introduced me to Seatfrog which allowed me to bid to upgrade to a First Class ticket. So travelled back in style to York with food and drink provided.

Good to spend a bit of time with Tom, Beth and Stevie before they returned home to Sheffield .
