A Special Day
The day started with a Parkrun at Brockwell Park a short walk from Stephen’s flat.
Following a shower it was a trip to Greenwich. This is the view from the Royal Observatory back to the Martime Museum and beyond to Canary Wharf. From here we caught the Thames Clipper to Central London passing through Tower Bridge. Plans to visit the Coutauld were scuppered by a sell out of tickets to the latest exhibition .However the British Museum came to the rescue and filled the gap. A bus ride to the restaurant Pique Nique for an excellent meal before a night walk through the sights of London including St.Paul’s Cathedral. It was lovely to pass some of the buildings that were part of Stephen’s journey to becoming a Barrister too.
Don’t think I have done so many steps in one day for a very long time but I loved every minute.
