Motueka
A day around the town started with a BlipMeet with Miffy and MacsPics who you need to follow if you want to learn all about this part of the Tasman Bay. Thank you both for meeting up again.
Miffy introduced me to my main Blip some years ago and I have Blipped it before. Like yesterday's derelict farmhouse the Janie Seddon Shipwreck has deteriorated over the past 2 years.
Postcards: We took a walk around Thorp Bush, a small wooded area in the centre of town. We were in search of Tui and we were not disappointed. We could clearly hear them and then we saw some. An iPhone isn't the best for bird photography but I managed to video one and snap another. We also had some Fantails darting about. I've put these images with a couple of local wall art of birds.
My second postcard came at each end of the day. I snapped the mural showing the house on wheels as part of local fruit picking mural. Later in the afternoon I saw one driving down the Main Street. The lady driver waved after I took the shot.
Yet another hot day, rain is promised tomorrow...
