Tulip

A fading flower. It's been a busy day, with some work hours following a really nice breakfast with friend K, whom I hadn't seen in over a year. Good to have friends you can pick up with even if you don't see each other often. We had lots to talk about, and the added bonus of being able to say hi to her daughter who called from Barcelona. Twenty years ago, our kids were all playing and watching cartoons together!

It was nearly midnight when I picked up William from Dulles, back from his week in Kansas.
