Farewell February

It's been a busy couple days...L and I had a great time in Alexandria this week, which is on the Virginia side of the Potomac River just south of DC. Got a fair amount of work done. I do enjoy writing and editing in cafes and can usually focus while tuning out the background to a happy hum, and of course there's the enticement of treats. Our favorite was a cafe with wonderful coffee and crepes. I'll put up some back blips.

Felix and Mosag were glad to see me home, although J. always takes good care of them (piano student Dylan's mom). I worked last night (but only a few hours, a last minute pick-up), spent time with SJ and her sister today, then drove to Samantha's house for a piano lesson, as her mom and dad were both working. Back here for a quiet evening.

So disgusted with the scene at the White House this afternoon. What an embarrassing, dangerous contrast to the earlier wholehearted support.
