Dolly's Day

A Lazy Day

Early start as Becky and Mike were running in the Middlesbrough Half Marathon which started at 9am. So I was " on duty " to stay at home and look after Astrid. We had a fun time playing with toys and watching TV.

When Becky and Mike got back we had some lunch.   Astrid wanted to do some running herself so she ran lots of races from one end of the living room to the other.  So much energy.

Then it was time to watch the match... F. A. Cup. Newcastle V Brighton.( I did have a ticket but when I knew I would be away I sold it back to the club for resale.) Not a good result for my team.  Anthony Gordon was sent off so he will miss playing in the Carabao Cup Final in a fortnight. And the final score was Newcastle 1 Brighton 2. So we are out of the F. A. Cup.

Later on we watched the Manchester United v Fulham Cup game... Fulham won that one.  It was a good match for a neutral to watch .... although I did want Fulham to win

Mike did a Sunday roast for the evening meal...... roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, roast pots ,mixed veg and gravy. Sticky Toffee pudding and cream for dessert.  All delicious.

My train home tomorrow isn't until late afternoon so I can spend the day with Becky and Astrid while Mike works from home

My collage includes a photo of Tino which the "Cat Ladies" put on their Facebook page.
