I liken lichen

It was a lovely sunny morning so F and I went for a walk on the moorland above Oswestry.

There were about a dozen ravens in the sky wheeling round and honking.  We assumed that they were youngsters sorting out mating partners. I hope that they were all happy with the results!  We also saw three red kites and four buzzards flying together.

The track was flooded in places (there's an extra of F teetering along the grass.  It was cold up there and we saw big pieces of ice on the ground.

The lichen was beautiful and so colourful on the dry stone wall.  I thought that these looked like a map.
